This small galleon tattooed on the forearm was relatively challenging. Whenever I work on a project I always wish I had more space to push the lighting effects and details as far as possible, but that’s not always an option.
The project appealed to me and my background as a comic artist came in useful: it gave me the ability to simplify the drawing without compromising the final impact, despite the limited size. Being able to create striking images and atmospheres in a small space is a fundamental skill for a comic artist who has to tell stories within tiny panels.
I’m proud to have created something unique and original.
Who said I don’t do small pieces? 😀
