A couple of short animations created in 1999 and 2001 with Macromedia Flash, a software that allowed the creation of interactive websites and animations. Later acquired by Adobe, it was hugely popular from 1998 until 2009, when new internet protocols unfortunately sealed its fate.
Both animations were conceived as animated intros, very much in fashion at the time, for two websites. The first was for an animated microsite dedicated to one of the most beautiful and unfortunately forgotten Alfa Romeo concept cars: the Nuvola. A stunning car designed by Walter de Silva, it featured revolutionary solutions that would later make their way into Alfa Romeo’s production lineup.
The second animation describes in thirty seconds the evolution of the Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto and was the intro for the website of the club of the same name: Club Alfa Romeo Duetto.
I have recently converted the original swf files to video to make them available on all platforms.
