On the occasion of the Cat Festival, held at Villa Castelbarco in Vaprio d’Adda, I held a small painting exhibition with my paintings within this particular context.
It was a demanding experience, those who know my KATZ know how big and heavy they are and how challenging it is to transport them.
In addition to the commitment and the many compliments, it was fun to watch surprised reactions and listen to some comments that made me smile.
Here below a list of the most fun and popular:
-Futuristic cats
– Aliens, extraterrestrials or martians.
– Industrial cats
– Space cats
– Robot cats
– Goldrake cats
– Super cats
Other decidedly amusing comments were those of a gentleman in response to his son: “They are not cats” 😮
Another gentleman who, passing through a group who was trying to find his own description, said: “They are the devil’s cats” 😀
The absolute winner was an elderly gentleman who in response to his wife’s comment: “Mmm, they’re not kitten”
He replied: “It is a form of painting more futuristic than artistic”.
I don’t know whether to take it as a compliment.
