For his first tattoo, this guy wanted an alien eye emerging from the middle of his chest. During our first meeting, I tried to understand the effect he was looking for: a clean cut, or torn flesh and skin with splashes of blood, or a sort of mutation that would open up his chest. We chose the latter option, showing the eye without blood. The alien eye was inspired by the typical rectangular pupil of goats and octopuses.
The tattoo was pretty fast but quite painful, as the sternum is one of the most painful areas to get tattooed.
In the photo and video you can see the tattoo healed for over 5 months, after a few minor touch-ups.
