The website created with Macromedia Flash for clubarduetto.it continues to bring great results. In addition to several awards (Maggic Flash Design Award, Bronze Award, Yahoo.it Site of the Week, and Passioneauto.it Site of the Day), it has received prestigious recognition from the print media for both the site design and my illustrations.

The vintage car magazine Grace published an excellent review in its June issue: «Everyone agrees on the Spider.
It is said that some children learn to pronounce Alfa and Romeo at the same time as (if not before) Mommy and Daddy. Therefore, it is no surprise to find dozens of sites, large and small, dedicated solely to the Spider ‘Duetto’ from the 1960s to today. One for all, and particularly beautiful, is the official club site www.clubarduetto.it, a true temple for the discovery of the most envied car of its era. While there are no actual technical data sheets and the history and design sections are rather brief, we find a good number of unusual and entertaining pages that delve into various ‘side’ aspects.

The animation ’30 years in 30 seconds’ is great, quickly tracing the different generations; the series of screensavers, one for each generation, which can be downloaded under the ‘download’ heading, is excellent; and the list of curiosities is absolutely delightful, recounting, among other things, the fate of the two models used in the film ‘The Graduate’. There is also a haunting page titled ‘Rest in Peace’ that shows a shocking series of photos of crashed Spiders, with the subtitle ‘everything we would never want to happen to our Duettos’. Needless to say, it is an invitation to caution…»
