Idea Tattoo magazine, that features tattoo flash and it’s published and distributed by Edizioni 3ntini & C. all over the world, is dedicating an entire issue to my work (#10, July 1996), publishing hundreds of my tattoo designs along with an interview.
Following the success of my book Segni di Pelle released late last year, Edizioni 3ntini e C. asked me to create drawings for a monographic issue. I would have loved to work on complex, colorful figurative pieces, but the production schedule and the magazine’s black-and-white format didn’t allow for it. Therefore, I was asked to focus purely on tribal art. This volume has effectively become a special edition: “Speciale Tribali by Jerry Magni” It is a great satisfaction to see it on the newsstands.
