It had been a while since I last posted. Those who follow me know that comics have taken something of a back seat lately, as I’ve been focusing on illustration projects and building dynamic websites with Macromedia Flash.
One of my most recent sites, created for the food company Pic-Nic and aimed at younger audiences, caught the attention of the editorial team at Kollection & Toys, who dedicated an entire page to the animations I produced for it: the mascot animation, dynamic games, and a homepage conceived almost like a treasure hunt, with different areas that animate and reveal surprises as you explore them with the mouse.
Moments like these are deeply satisfying. Perhaps less so for my art director, because I think the time has come to raise my rates. 😀
