Honestly I don’t remember the exact origins of this drawing, I remember that the client wanted a drawing that covered the foot, the entire calf and the knee and that he definitely wanted a pin-up in the composition. After a brief discussion he told me that he wanted something related to Rock music. Being a former metalhead some ideas were already taking form in my head. To give him an idea I showed him some sketches done some time ago on that very subject and the project began to take shape. I don’t remember where the skull and pumpkin in flames came from but I’m so satisfied with the overall result that I’m almost sorry that it’s going to go on a calf rather than on a back 😛
