From time to time, work schedule permitting, I like to enroll in classes and/or seminars about drawing, art, tattoos etc. Lately I enrolled in a class that includes a prohibitive amount of assignments but this is not going to stop me, I’m going to take my time according to my work schedule and I’m going to finish it. Right now I’ve finished one of the first assignments: studying a piece by one of my favourite artists.
I chose a legendary comic artist from the 80s and 90s, Simon Bisley.
I know it’s not a perfect copy (in particular the right buttock) but the task is to understand the way he works, not doing an exact copy, and I think I did pretty well 😛
