Tattoo Index is a Slovakian publication I discovered by pure chance during my guest spot in Cyprus.
I had never heard of it, but I found it on the studio’s waiting room table during a break. Flipping through it, I discovered that the January 2009 issue contained several of my works. This was a positive surprise, not only because appearing in a magazine is a huge recognition of my work’s value, but mainly because I never sent any images to this publication.
Sending images to magazines is a practice an artist should do constantly, but I haven’t done it until now, mostly out of laziness and the difficulty of researching foreign magazines, not to mention the costs of periodically sending CDs to numerous magazines worldwide. Today, however, we are in the world of the internet, where anyone can download your work and publish it in a foreign magazine without you knowing 😀
Another certificate of excellence that I will keep with pride.
